Questions and Answers
What is NexTrader AI?
NexTrader AI is an AI-powered market intelligence and social trading platform. It organizes market data and AI-assisted analysis, ranks human and AI “Leaders” with the NexScore algorithm, screens trade signals through an AI Risk Governor, and lets you execute in your own connected brokerage. It is designed to support disciplined research and decision-making, not to replace professional financial advice.
Does NexTrader AI execute trades?
Yes. NexTrader AI can help you execute trades in your own connected brokerage account in about two clicks, using the SnapTrade integration across 400+ brokerages. The platform is non-custodial, so your funds stay in your account and withdrawal permissions are disabled. You can also practice in Paper Trading Mode, where no real orders are placed.
Is NexTrader AI a registered investment adviser?
NexTrader AI provides technology and research tools for educational and informational purposes and does not provide personalized investment advice. Any regulatory registrations, where applicable, are disclosed in our Terms of Service. Consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.
Does NexTrader AI guarantee trading profits?
No. NexTrader AI does not guarantee profits, returns, or risk-free trading. Trading and investing involve substantial risk, including the possible loss of principal. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
What types of markets does NexTrader AI analyze?
NexTrader AI works with multiple asset classes, including stocks, cryptocurrencies, ETFs, options, and futures. Coverage and available instruments depend on your connected brokerage, exchange, and data sources.
Is NexTrader AI market data real-time or delayed?
Market data availability and timing depend on your connected brokerage, exchange, and data provider. Depending on the source, data may be real-time, near-real-time, delayed, or end-of-day. Always confirm the timing of any data before acting on it.
How should users verify AI-generated analysis?
Treat AI-assisted analysis as one input, not a final answer. Cross-check important information with authoritative sources, review the underlying data and its freshness, avoid relying on a single signal, and apply your own judgment and risk tolerance.
How does NexTrader AI approach risk management?
Every trade signal is verified server-side and passes through the AI Risk Governor before it can be executed. Users also get per-account risk controls and AI-assisted position sizing, and can rehearse strategies in Paper Trading Mode. Risk management remains the user's responsibility.
Is NexTrader AI suitable for beginners?
NexTrader AI includes educational resources and a risk-free Paper Trading Mode that can help newer users learn, but trading always carries risk. Each person should evaluate whether the platform and any financial instrument fit their own objectives, experience, and risk tolerance.
How can users contact NexTrader AI?
You can reach the team through the contact form on our Contact page. Response times may vary during early access.
What is the NexScore and how is it calculated?
NexScore is a proprietary 100-point algorithm that ranks human and AI Leaders. It evaluates factors such as performance, risk management, consistency, and follower engagement, and it is updated every 24 hours. NexScore summarizes historical and risk-adjusted factors for comparison; it is not a forecast of future returns.
What are Leaders, and what is the difference between human and AI Leaders?
Leaders are traders that others can follow. Human Leaders are verified expert traders, while AI Leaders are virtual models trained on specific sectors, quantitative strategies, or risk profiles. Both appear on the same ranked leaderboard and are scored with NexScore, so you can compare them side by side.
How does following a Leader and copy trading actually work?
When you follow a Leader, you receive their trade signals, each showing details like symbol, type, entry price, target, stop loss, and confidence. You review the thesis and decide whether to act. If you choose to execute, the trade is placed in your own connected brokerage in about two clicks. Nothing is copied automatically without your review and control.
What is Paper Trading Mode?
Paper Trading Mode is a risk-free environment that mirrors the live experience using a simulated balance. No real orders are placed. It lets you practice strategies and follow Leaders before committing real capital.
How do I connect my brokerage, and what is SnapTrade?
You connect your accounts through SnapTrade, which supports 400+ brokerages including Robinhood, Schwab, Fidelity, TD Ameritrade, and E*TRADE. Crypto exchanges such as Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken can be connected via API key. Each connection uses trade-only permissions with withdrawals disabled, and balance queries are read-only.
What are the limitations of the AI on NexTrader AI?
AI-assisted analysis is one input, not a final answer. Models can be incomplete or wrong, can misread unusual market conditions, and cannot predict the future. Confidence levels express the model's assessment, not a probability of profit. Always verify important details and apply your own judgment before acting.
How does NexTrader AI protect my privacy and security?
The platform is non-custodial, so your funds stay in your own accounts and withdrawal permissions are disabled. API credentials are protected with AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit, connections are monitored in real time, and you can review and disconnect connections at any time. See our Security and Privacy pages for more detail.
How do I get started with NexTrader AI?
NexTrader AI is in early access. You can request access on the Get Early Access page, then explore the platform and practice in Paper Trading Mode. When you are ready to go live, you connect your own brokerage or exchange through SnapTrade.
How do I cancel or disconnect my accounts?
You can disconnect any linked brokerage or exchange at any time from your account, which removes the platform's trade-only access to it. Because the platform is non-custodial and withdrawals are disabled, your funds always remain in your own account. For account questions during early access, contact the team through the Contact page.
